The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV is the ninth installment in the main Trails series, serving as a direct sequel to the events of the The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III and the ending to the Erebonia arc. The continent of Zemuria is dragged into conflict as the Erebonian Empire mobilizes the full force of its military.
