A retro puzzle shooter built around ricochets, where every shot counts. You play as Gunther, a revolver and a family man, in a constrained turn-based system: one action at a time, until it fully resolves.
No arms. No legs. That’s the deal.
A cylinder. Six bullets. No room for error.
Each bullet has a purpose. Every shot has consequences.
Being a family man isn’t easy when you’re a revolver.
The Aims family lives a modern, almost perfect life in the 1950s, shaped by their own idealized vision of the American Dream.
Until one day, an accident changes everything.
Gunther's life is irreversibly altered: he finds himself trapped in the body of a revolver.
Refusing to give up on the sense of normality they built together, Bethany, his wife, does everything she can to help Gunther keep living… as normally as possible. Together, they try to preserve their daily routine, despite Gunther’s new condition.
The story takes place in a world inspired by sitcoms and cartoons, where time and space follow unusual rules. Everyday life is exaggerated, stylized, and shaped by repetition and routine.
Over the course of a single week, the player follows Gunther through key moments of his life: returning home, his first day at a new job, grocery shopping, gardening, andd spending time with his son.
As Gunther learns to live with this new reality, he doesn’t try to become someone else. He simply tries to become the best version of himself possible, within these new constrains.
But his journey is not without obstacles. Throughout the week, Gunther faces rivals, exaggerated and distorted embodiments of different facets of the American Dream.
By confronting them, he gradually comes to understand that a dream without limits can become a trap, and that happiness sometimes lies in knowing where to stop.
Plan your ricochets and make dinner…
Each level is an intricate puzzle where you must solve objectives using:
Every shot is a solution to discover…
or a mistake to own.
**Gunther is built around a constrained turn-based system: ** the player can perform only one action at a time, and must wait for its full resolution before acting again.
The right angle changes everything.
Break one of these rules? You start over.
A fair and demanding die & retry experience, where failure is part of learning.
Rivals can throw you off
Throughout the week, Gunther will have to:
Cleaning only takes one well-placed shot.
Use your grappling hook to grab groceries from Bethany’s shopping cart.
