Hello and welcome to the mid-life crisis also known as "my first game". For decades I've worked in data & analytics, worn just about every hat, worked for soul-crushing corpos and small businesses, and at each and every job I've struggled with one thing: how to find more meaning to my work. It took layoffs and a severance check to finally try something that had been childhood dream: to make my own video game. I learned to (actually) code, learned Unity, Illustrator, Audacity, Photoshop, and more. Space Cat Solitaire is the result! It's not my "dream game" but it does combine many of my loves and passions, like Cats, space, storytelling and (of course) solving puzzles.
