Sacred: Last Pixel of Ancaria is a party-based RPG set in the beloved, feudal world of Ancaria, handcrafted in 16-bit pixel art. The story picks up directly after the ending of the original Sacred game. The Dark Tower of the evil magician Shaddar explodes, and the T-energy explosion didn't just change Ancaria, but broke the Crown into shards: Factions battle factions, trying to grab the power of the fallen Kingdom.
Build a party of heroes, explore an open world on horseback, and fight through a hybrid combat system where real-time battles escalate into turn-based encounters. Choose from a roster of playable heroes spanning the Sacred universe, each with their own archetype, story, and combat style. Recruit mercenaries and hirelings to fill your ranks, or go solo if you want - but Ancaria will not go easy on you, and death lurks in each shadow and crevasse.
The rupture of the space-time-continuum had another effect: All the heroes from Sacred and Sacred II can fight side by side, 800 years of lore apart (and they have plenty to say about it).
Fights begin in real-time. When combat intensifies, the system shifts to a turn-based mode, giving you full tactical control.
Ancaria is a place of grand adventure and exploration: Ride through forests, through dungeons, and deserts on horseback. The battleworn world is full of secrets, quests, and the kind of odd NPC encounters Sacred fans know and love. If it drops, you pick it up - Weapons, armor, rings, amulets, and everything in between. Visible equipment means your heroes look as powerful as they are. Sacred has always been about the loot.
Sacred: Last Pixel of Ancaria is made by SparklingBit and Enduring Games, a team of 30+ people led by Franz Stradal and the original developers of Sacred I and Sacred II. The Sacred IP is licensed from THQ Nordic. This is an independently funded game. The community shapes the direction through open development and direct feedback.
