About the Game

PILLORY is a surreal indie RPG set in a forgotten afterlife. Engage in unique turn-based mood battles and meet strange creatures in the dark corners the Progenitors forgot about.

Throughout your adventure, encounter a mix of unusual allies and foes. Some, like you, are lost. Others are indifferent to their eternal existence. Some mean you great harm.

Combat revolves around party members proposing ideas each turn. You may choose one, or reroll for a different idea, at the cost of mood. Identifying enemies' weaknesses to one of the three damage types is crucial.

At extreme moods, you will lose control. Managing your mood is essential in combat.
