### Overview ParaDive++ is a first-person incremental shooter hybrid where you play as a newly inducted member of the Prometheus Collective's ParaDiver division. Using technology developed by Professor John Zeno, you astral-project into a matrix - a pocket-dimension grown on the membrane that envelopes the observable universe. ### Gameplay Loop Fight strange psychic life forms inhabiting the matrix and collect their Psychomatter. The more Psychomatter you absorb and level up, the more aggressive the matrix becomes, throwing bigger hordes and more complex lifeforms at you. Spend Psychomatter on upgrades to become stronger and keep pace with escalating threats. Understand the rules of the matrix to maximize Psychomatter yield and reach your increasing quota. ### Progression With each quota reached, you receive Prestige Tokens, which unlock new types of upgrades. Spending these tokens resets your existing upgrade progress but grants access to new features and mechanics, letting you reach higher quotas faster on subsequent runs. ### Between Dives After each dive, return to your computer to lurk in co-worker chat rooms, read private messages and files, check your progress and next quota, and purchase upgrades before diving back in. Can you survive the gauntlet and uncover the truth at the heart of the matrix?
