Overview

Noctem is a psychological horror game with an element of some real life experiences. The game aims to provide an immersive experience through atmospheric design and ambient sound.

Setting

Noctem is set in Dry Creek, a small town within the Alaska Triangle - a region connecting Anchorage, Juneau, and Barrow where many people have mysteriously disappeared. The area features beautiful nature and frequent fog, with locals reluctant to discuss the strange occurrences.

Story

Amelia Hudson returns to her hometown after her father dies under mysterious circumstances. She had left years earlier after personal tragedies: her brother Tommy died of leukemia when she was 14, and her mother took her own life eight months later. Now back to complete her thesis, Amelia discovers something is terribly wrong. She feels a presence in her house, experiencing disturbing thoughts and a distorted sense of reality that defies human understanding.
