Not your usual Match-3. Trapped in your own imagination, match ideas to fuel abilities that upgrade every fight. Beware, Dark Ideas cloud your board and force you to rethink. Place relics that twist the rules. Face Monsters that fight back, and climb a tower built from your own creative blocks.
Forget classic Match-3 games. In MindMatch, every match charges an Esquisse: an ability that strikes, heals, poisons, erases, reshapes the grid... Chain quick activations to overwhelm enemies. Charge them fully for devastating effects. After every fight, upgrade your Esquisses with new grafts: adding and enhancing abilities or adjusting their cost. How you generate resources matters as much as how you spend them.
Your mind is under siege. Dark Ideas invade your grid, block your matches, ruin your combos, and deal damage when matched. Ignore them and your mind locks up. Clear them and you waste precious turns. Go all in and trigger bombs that clear nearby tiles, slashes that wipe entire rows, or color bombs that remove every tile of one type. If the grid fights you, fight back. But don't rely on luck.
Relics aren't just passive bonuses. To activate, each relic must be placed in your relic grid, and each one has a unique shape. Organize your space, optimize your layout and build unmatched synergies: generate more resources, spawn special tiles, repaint your entire grid, unlock passive effects, and much more. The only limit is space... unless there's a way around that?
No autopilot allowed. Sure, you can rush through fights, but beware, every monster has unique abilities designed to break your habits:
Every enemy demands a different approach. Adapt or you'll never reach the top.
Not every floor is a fight. Along the way you'll find relic merchants, blessing shrines, and event rooms. These force you into tough choices:
After every fight, upgrade your Esquisses: specialize in poison, build multi-hit combos, stack armor, or go for Overheal. Unless you'd rather try Erasure?
