Legends of Iona RPG

Story

Play as Zaak, a young man trapped in an ancient underground world. He must face many dangers in order to escape. During his adventures, Zaak will awaken a past long-lost and forgotten.

Gameplay

This is a late publishing of a 2006-2007 arcade video game, adapted for Windows PC keyboard and controllers. The game is aimed at quests and discovery rather than complicated battle systems.

5 giant levels filled with dungeons, treasures, monsters, and open spaces with important characters to meet and help through quests. Average 30+ hours of gameplay.

Different gameplay mechanics: traditional spells and skills are replaced with combinations of Ionix crystals and special armor and weapon crafting. Unlock 3 special attack combo moves.

Style

Merges the best gameplay from RPGs of the '80s and '90s with modern gameplay and wide areas. Story, species, and characters are well-developed as a prelude to the upcoming MMO Worlds of Iona. No blood or gore.

Controls

Press CTRL or right bottom joystick for free camera. Talk to the first guard to start quests. Use the quest list button (lower right) to track objectives.
