Lady Dracula

LADY DRACULA is a Classicvania platformer from Goth Donut Games, imagined as a sequel to Bram Stoker's Dracula novel.

Setting and Story

In 1897 Transylvania, Dracula is dead, slain by vampire hunters. His widow, Lady Dracula, has gone mad with grief and sent demons across the land to wipe mankind from the Earth. As her daughter, Lady Dracula the Second, you must make your way to your mother's looming castle and strike her down from her tower keep.

Gameplay Mechanics

Transform into new forms - wraith, spider, and bat - to fly, climb, and blast your way through the game. Jump into transformation bubbles to float through hazards in Wraith Form, climb walls and ceilings in Spider Form, or use Bat Form to blast across the screen. The game combines Classicvania staples like long-ranged whip attacks, stairs, and arched throwing scythes with features less common in the genre, including a quick short sword, story and dialogue cutscenes, and shapeshifting mechanics.

Content

Over 30 stages and more than 10 bosses form a dangerous adventure through varied and colorful environments with spectacular setpieces. Fight across a moving train in a thunderstorm, battle a giant crow from a racing horse carriage, face off against Death himself atop his ghost ship on the river Styx in Hell. Explore forests, mountains, caves, and cemeteries.

Difficulty and Accessibility

Five different difficulty modes offer accessibility for new players and extreme challenge for diehard fans. Features include infinite respawns on the easiest difficulty and permadeath on the hardest. Gameplay features like air control and player knockback are customizable.
