Joey’s Nightmare II is a roguelike deckbuilding game made by a small indie team. Its gameplay is inspired by Slay the Spire, Monster Train, and Lost in Fantaland, while the art style draws inspiration from Adventure Time.

Story

Joey is a timid child with an overactive imagination. Recently, he learned a new word: “Key.”

Now, everyone he sees during the day transforms into strange “Key” monsters in his dreams — Monkey, Donkey, Turkey…

Each time Joey defeats one of these bizarre nightmare creatures, they leave behind mysterious blessings and powers, helping him grow braver as he descends deeper into the darkness of his dreams.
