With over 85 unit types, this addition to the 40k franchise brings the vastness and depth of an Epic-style battle to your PC, allowing you greater selection and customisation over your army. This, along with the multiple scenarios and battlefronts to fight from, will keep your strategic mind on edge for hours on end.
Originally released in 1997, Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000 is a tactical turn-based strategy game in which you lead the armies of the Imperium of Man against Ork hordes. The game earned cult status not only for its deep gameplay, but also for its unique and atmospheric live-action FMV cutscenes. This is the first time the game is available on Steam, with adjustments to support modern systems (see "WHAT’S INSIDE THIS RELEASE" in the section below).
Suffice it to say, I have served under two Lord Commanders Militant in the single campaign in the past. *I say this not to threaten, but to warn, my Lord. * - Commissar Holt
This turn-based strategy game chronicles a monumental struggle for survival in the distant future. Humanity’s spread throughout the stars has not gone unnoticed - along the way enemies have surfaced. The planet Volistad has been invaded by Orks who plan to crush the last of the humans - and claim the world as their own!
The first computer game set in the Warhammer Epic 40,000 universe by Games Workshop, Final Liberation features the armies of the Imperium of Man and the Space Ork Horde. From standard infantry to the mighty Imperial legions of tanks, from the roaring Ork warbikes to the towering Titans and Gargants, the future has never been so brutal!
This edition updates Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000 to run smoothly on modern Windows systems, delivering improved stability and enhanced compatibility. Mouse controls have been refined for more responsive camera movement and smoother gameplay. Steam achievements have been added.
