In Fields of Fortune, you decide how you want to play. Relaxed and hands-on, or step by step through automation.
Through quest lines with short dialogues directly in the game, you’ll learn about new tools, machines, and systems, without time pressure and without complicated tutorials.
Gently automated, if you want. Fully relaxed, when you need it.
Automation is a core part of Fields of Fortune, but it’s introduced gradually and in a playful way.
You start with simple processes and learn step by step:
Many systems are unlocked and explained through quests, directly in the game.
Your little harvest bot takes care of the work:
Via conveyor belts, the logs are delivered straight to the sawmill, where they are processed into lumber fully automatically. Neat, sustainable, and surprisingly cute.
What starts small grows with you.
Combine conveyor belts, splitters, and machines into large, fully automated production chains that process multiple resources at once and keep your farm supplied long-term.
Plan your layouts, optimize routes, and watch an idea turn into a working system.
As you progress through the game, you unlock the Academy. Here you can gradually learn all four disciplines:
Each specialization unlocks new buildings, recipes, and possibilities. Within each discipline, however, you make conscious talent choices, allowing you to shape your playstyle individually without missing out on content.
Sail to procedurally generated islands full of surprises. Discover new plants and herbs, encounter strange animals, and find hidden treasures.
Everything you collect can be brought back home. Who knows what the next island holds?
You start small, with a few tools and a big idea. You freely place fields and buildings, developing your land piece by piece, by hand or through automation. In town, you can trade, take on tasks, and earn rewards. Animals are also part of your farm. You take care of food, water, and enclosures, and collect what they provide.
Relaxed or optimized, you decide how you play.
Fields of Fortune is now available in Early Access. Play it now and help shape the game with your feedback.
