You are a bat, and the aliens are afraid of you. Stalk occupied towns by echolocation, bite a single host, and let the virus do the rest. A stealth game where your weapon is a disease. Engineer strains, manage outbreaks, and stay invisible. The hunt starts at dusk.
Earth needs antibodies. You are one of them.
The Clamor came down from the sky and took the towns. Their bodies were never built for this world, and you carry the one thing they cannot survive: a virus.
Infect alien hosts by night. Engineer new strains by day. Stay ahead of vaccines, quarantine efforts, and increasingly dangerous enemies as you fight your way from isolated villages to the Clamor mothership.
One bite seeds an outbreak.
Design your virus by balancing transmission, symptoms, and lethality. Spread it through contact, contamination, or the air itself. Delay symptoms to reach critical mass. Increase lethality to thin enemy ranks. Adapt your strategy as the Clamor develops new countermeasures.
Every infected host becomes a carrier. Diseases spread through the population while you hide, mutate your strain, and prepare for the next night. Multiple outbreaks can exist at once, creating a web of infections that evolves across the entire campaign.
You are a bat, and you see the world through sound.
Your chirps sketch the environment into existence before it fades back into darkness. Scan pulses reveal infection status in the only color the world allows itself. Every night becomes a balance between information and exposure.
Sound helps you see. Sound also gives away your position.
Stay hidden in vents, rafters, and dark corners while you search for new hosts. If the Clamor spots you, patrols respond. Soldiers mobilize. Cybernetic hounds begin the hunt.
The Clamor learns from every outbreak. Return to a town and you may find quarantine zones, medical facilities, armed patrols, and new defenses. The more successful your diseases become, the harder the enemy works to stop them.
Mutate faster than they can adapt — or watch your pandemic die.
Every frame is rendered as ink and pencil on paper. The world exists as the bat perceives it: incomplete, temporary, and shaped by sound itself. When the world fills in around you, a sound wave has landed. When you see color, something is infected.
