Overview

CHIYO is a first-person, hardcore escape room styled, single-player puzzle game set in Edo era Japan with a horror background. It exists in the same universe as MALICE.

Story

Play as Idate Chiyo, a newly recruited paranormal investigator of the Tokugawa Shogunate's Magical Arcane Division. Your first assignment: investigate strange occurrences originating from an abandoned mansion in the forested interior of Gōtsu, a small coastal city in Shimane Prefecture. Within the mansion, you encounter strange and malevolent spirits, devious contraptions, puzzles, and a dark family history that threatens your survival.

Gameplay

Challenge your wits and nerves with escape room style puzzles while a ghostly presence haunts your every step. Activate unique supernatural powers to pierce and dive into the paranormal realm as you uncover the mysteries of the abandoned mansion, a powerful family's dark dealings, and the consequences of love and sacrifice.
