Welcome to the craziest chess-related experience you can find! Checkmate Kings is an action party game with twin stick shooters, bullet hells and 2D fighters influences. In this game, there is no health bar. If one chess piece hits you it's game over!
Choose your character from a roster of 8 kings and queens inspired by fictional and historical characters. You'll find each of them has a unique personality and playstyle!
8 unique playstyles allow you to pressure your opponent however you like best! Shoot, place pieces and dodge around to get the upper hand!
Placing chess pieces, dodging, and pressuring your opponent is not all there is to the game! Gather crowns and use their power to **steal **enemy pieces! Turn the tides in a single move!
As you play you'll be able to unlock unique customization options for your arena! Choose your favorite look and fill the stands with the best crowd you can find!
