Bros of Bench

Bros of Bench is a 2D cooperative platformer where two players are literally bound together by a dumbbell.

Core Mechanics

Each player controls one end of the barbell, forming a single connected physical system. You can swing each other around, launch your partner through the air, or adjust the distance between you at any time. Every movement becomes a balance of coordination, momentum, and controlled chaos.

In Bros of Bench, cooperation is built into the physics. Swing your partner around to overcome obstacles, adjust the length of the barbell to change your movement dynamics, and synchronize actions to survive precision-based challenges. Alternate between careful control and jetpack-like propulsion.

Gameplay Modes

Switch between two distinct gameplay styles: Barbell Mode (physics-driven cooperation and rotational control) and Propulsion Mode (fast-paced movement where you launch each other like a jetpack). This constant alternation keeps gameplay fresh and forces players to continuously adapt.

Levels and Challenges

Progress through environments filled with hazards and interactive systems: horizontal and vertical moving platforms, wind and environmental forces, rotating mechanisms and giant wheels, timed doors triggered by big buttons, spikes and blades, synchronized trap sequences, giant worms and unpredictable creatures, technical cave passages and narrow corridors, and beach-based precision challenges.

Bros of Bench is designed for both local and online co-op. Success depends entirely on coordination - one wrong move, and both players go down together.
